Still recovering from the weekend and waiting for DHL to drop off my printer. The other one destroyed itself. Odin is constantly watching me as I type and use the computer. My apartment is a hell hole right now. Odin is not a good decorator.

Good thing our pres has been spying on his citizens in the name of terrorism, a war that will never be won, due to constant dissent from a minority of people around the world who are able to read and remove themselves from their TV sets and entertainment news. If Americans would do more than just sit on their fat asses and watch TV, the level of education would rise astronomically and possibly allow our country to finally start to climb out of the shit hole it is in currently. This weekend was the apex of weekends of 2005, except for that time where I had to work back to back doubles at The Bradley Center .

There were guns, booze, some other unmentionables, hot girl playing pool while a dirty old man was teaching his son how to be a douche, St. Louis Fink, hot sister, Jameson, and much more. For example learning Justin Snyder could not shoot a wall with a shot gun from 5 feet away.

Anywho, after finally catching up on sleep I am posting some pictures and video on the site for all to see. I can't think of anything else to write due to levels of seratonin and dopamine depletion. You know who you are and are on notice. Oy, Marino!

My thoughts go out to the people living in the horror of New Orleans and other places ravaged by Katrina. Hopefully gets sorted out soon and everyone can help each other out.

Just drinking before my NFL fantasy draft. I kept Dominac Davis from last year so Ill see how he pans out. Trying to make life decisions, but sometimes I am too shy for my own good. My fantasy soccer team blows, only in 30, 000 place but still climbing that elusive moutain, only the slopes are kinda steep at the moment.

Man Alexander's Athletic Club is nice, got them new TV things on the treadmills and stuff. Good thing I am not going to get cable cause I can improve my heart rate and watch them news channels. So glad Mr. Bush is more enthralled by Iraq than those who have died in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. I mean can it be any more obvious he cares more about oil than people dying? Ahh the weather today was even worse than yesterday, but I guess that happens when a Tropical Depression rolls into town. I hope everything gets going again in New Orleans soon cause people especially now in the downtrodden superpower known as the US of A cannot really afford more losses.

Good thing those prayers Bush said helped to prevent the hurricane flooding N'awlins. What a joke he is. But enough about him.

I do not have a TV set up or anything cause who needs TV especially when your significant other or whatever she is now, wierd relationship stuff, who works for a cable company can't hook you up. But TV blows anywho especially when you can download most of the stuff you want to watch like Battlestar Galactica. Prolly just end up reading or finally plugging in TV to play some winning eleven 8.

The weather was bad today so I decided to postpone a trip to central Pittsburgh. I decided to hit up the ye old Starbucks and read. Decided to get a mocha chip frappacino. It was a delicious amount of calories and also a chocolatey lunch. Dirk Gently's is going pretty well if you like the fact that every chapter has yet to make any sort of chronological sense.

Today its just going to be me and Odin hanging out in the apartment. I will be posting some pictures soon, still have yet to get everything set up and still waiting to put my TV on a stand so I can get some WE8 time in.

I really wish cable companies would allow you to only purchase channels you wanted. But then again its the same way as Bush politics, you are always screwed by the rich and powerful, only cable companies do not send their yound technicians to get killed in peoples living establishments.

Pittsburgh Drivers

Today, after a long hiatus, I will finally post regarding drivers in Pittsburgh.

I currently live in Bethal Park so I do not know if it applies to the entire city/area.

Basically people cannot drive here and I am from a hick ass town known as Wilmington, Ohio. People merely turn left in front of oncoming traffic with no regard to theirs or other's lives, they just merely turn hoping for the best. People also refuse to accelerate at lights. They wait and wait and you are lucky if you can get through a light before it turns red 3 times. Drivers also never go above the speed limit or even approach the posted limit. Although, on the I-79, I-279, and I-579 Pittsburgh drivers drive as fast as they want to, thus the slow nature of rural driving may only be localized to 2 lane highways. The other thing that really occurs is people refuse to go around cars that are turning left. They just merely wait and wait. It could be because I drive and Ion/plastic car and I am able to coast past the stopped car or else people really need to purchase something smaller for their grocery getter.

Hopefully some people from Pittsburgh can chime in with any of their thoughts on their horrible driving habits.

I have taken their reigns in the Master League and boy are they horrid. I cannot seem to be able to buy any players, but my players are easily bought and reassigned after I drop them.

My thoughts and hope goes out to all my friends who live in our around London. I hope all is well and English recover from this. I say English because my friend Steve Brown likes to say, I am English not British. It is a rough time to live in a civilized world that is always under attack from unknown sources who only goal is havoc and chaos. However I believe most of the troubles are because of the way governments are involved in the Middle East, mostly the US which needs to pull out before more innocent people are killed for no reason.
The best advice is continue on living life the way you have. If an attack happens, it happens. You cannot fear the unknown. If there is a higher power and it chooses you to leave this realm of flesh, then so be it. Staying locked in your room fearful will solve nothing, except allowing yourself not to be part of the world and its greatness.
I wish you a swift recovery London, as you were my home for a year.

However I did run across an interesting post today on slashdot.org talking about the rulings in the past week by the US Supreme Court. It all seems like Americans are heading toward serfdom while making the dictators of our country richer. Hooray Bush!

Lessee... In the last 24 hours

1. Innovation and development of Internet products in America has been stifled, and the future of such products thrown into doubt by the Supreme Courts decisions. Why develop a better Bit Torrent (or whatever) in this country, when you can now be taken to court by very deep pocketed companies who have nothing better to do that sue you into bankruptcy, based on this ruling?

2. The Supreme Court has also managed to further protect the bacon by making it so that cops can't be sued based on how poorly they enforce, or fail to protect people with restraining orders. So, for existence, your sister gets a restraining order against her ex-husband, and as she's on the phone calling for help, as the cops haven't responded to her first two calls, her ex shoots her.

Well... You can no longer blame the cops for this, which IMHO makes restraining orders completely useless. If there's no ramifications to them when they don't enforce these orders, what's the point in having them? There's now 0 incentive for cops to drop their donuts and do their duty, when it comes to victims of stalking and such. What are you going to do about it? Can't sue them into doing their job... Might as well buy a gun and protect yourself if you're in such a position, as there's no guarantee that a restraining order will help in any way.

Of course, if you're rich, and have the influence to affect future police funding, and/or influence public opinion, you're almost guaranteed that the cops will be very vigilant in protecting you. It's the average person who loses out here.

3. Cable companies no longer have to share their lines. On one hand this may mean more services from them for slightly less money. On the more realistic side, it means less options for you, the consumer, if the cable company decides to go the other way and raise your rates. Ain't it funny how so many of the decisions since Bush took office favor big business, and lock out the little guys?

4. Reporters can no longer protect their sources due to anotehr ruling today. They can, but they'll face jail time. In the long run this'll mean less people will come forward with info on wrongdoing's, which means big money gets away with more illegal activities....

5. And finally, let's not forget last weeks shit ruling wherein Walmart, Target, and any other retailer now can, or at least has the potential to take your house and land away from your in order to build more stores, in order to make themselves richer.

Yes, you'll be compensated if this happens, but that does nothing to help those who don't want to be displaced. It also means that any compensation received is at a government-set level. The same government who gives all kinds of tax breaks an incentives to such business's to get them to move into your neighborhood in the 1st place.

Seriously... Dickhead Bush and his money-mongering ilk are taking away our freedoms and liberties, not to mention our loved ones via his vendetta against Iraq, while he and his cronies grow fatter and richer.

I'm not one to really point fingers and go on about politics, but America is quickly losing everything that made us a superpower. At this rate, we will soon have a very rich, ruling elite, while the average person lives in rented propertys supporting them. Meanwhile tomorrows technological advances, and the money and power that goes with such things, will be coming from places such as China and India, which coincidentally are becoming superpowers due to all the money and business we're giving them.

In essence, we are funding our own demise, while the Bush's, and the Walmarts of the world kick back and fund more laws which limit our freedoms, while expanding their interests. Sad times indeed..."

Very interesting, it all depends on how you interpret the rulings, but it really does seem to me that we are already on the slippery slope. As an american, I really need to get the most I can out of this crumbling empire before I leave.

Another sign of a great economy. Delta Ch. 11 decision likely within months. Are people in Washington even concerned by companies struggling? Do they even care people are losing jobs and jobless rates are increasing? Or are they only concerned oil prices are dropping so they can drive their Earth destroying SUVs? I remember when this country was a place of promise and hopes, more and more its becoming a theocracy, where the belief in Christianity will save us all. Sorta sounds like the politicians are using Marxism, religion is the opiate for the people, to make them not realize how awful things really are. Americans are becoming too naive to even see what's happening because they are too concerned with Michael Jackson or who leads in NASCAR to even read papers or go online to find news without a slant or actual coverage of an event, rather than be bombarded with nothing but celebrity news.

Bush and Economy

Hmmm..thanks to the link at the right Google News, I stepped upon great news from the Ailing juggernaut of the USA. GM to cut 25,000 jobs in 3 years and Bush opening talks for free trade in the Americas. Call me a fool, but the fact that 25,000 people are losing their jobs to cheap labor from the rest of the world and Bush wants to open up free trade to cheap labor seems a bit coincidental. I know I am possibly going out on a limb on these circumstances, but I think I have a lead. This administration is becoming more and more greedy. They are giving away US jobs and sending our young home in body bags. There is no reasoning. Why does the US not open up free trade talks with the EU? Because they have labor laws there and Wal-Mart would not be able to have slave labor.
Morals put these douches in office, thanks to the uneducated/uninformed voter. Hopefully some people will realize with base and plant closures one side is more concerned with money than the other (I know Democrats are possibly just as dirty, however they have yet to set out country economically back in time as the Cool Guy administration is doing now.

On a side note: Pistons v Spurs Thursday at 8:30 - ABC. I will be there yes defense wins championships. Go Spurs, bring home a 3rd title.

I am so glad ESPN has become nothing but punditry for the sporting world. Who the fuck cares where all the home runs went? Baseball is a more boring version of cricket with players making upteen millions of dollars, making the game nearly impossible for any blue collar worker to attend. Plus all of them are juiced, but we must stop congress for a few hearing to protect the owners investment of millions of dollars. I am so glad corporate America has become so entrenched in our lives to impede everything.

Star Wars: Episode Hype

I can't believe people are getting so excited for Star Wars. It going to be like an all out assault on our cerebral cortex with nothing but flashing lights and saber fights. Really, the past two movies blew and did not add anything to the originals other than an awful alien known as Jar-Jar. What a waste of computer cycles those two movies were.

If you must see it, please make sure you drink plenty of warm milk or be quite liquored up so you can slow the rate of lights entering your visual cortex and the sounds will be deafened. Also you must complete the other task, if you are sitting next to someone who claps at the beginning of the movie, punch them in their face. Really why are you clapping for a movie. Are you amazed by the projectionist's ability to keep the reels on the correct frame? Seriously no one that was made or was in the movie can hear you, so stop nerding out and move out of your mom's basement.

Drinking coffee and attempting to work on dissertation not going so hot at Panera. However, the coffee is good and the internet is free, thus I cannot complain (OMG first positive post!!!)

It is interesting to note, girls are so hot in high school, yet once they enter the world of booze, drugs, illicit sex of college, they soon hit the wall and suddenly need a shoe horn to put on pants. This is a random thought, but what can you do.

I have been wondering what to do with my life once my Assistant Coach contract runs out. This is quite the conondrum and I constantly lose sleep or get too much dealing with this stress. I am either going back to school to work towards a Phd, have to get another master's first, or stay and coach and get a full time job with no chance to ascend the ladder. It really is quite the question of the hour/life.

Well back to looking at paper and hoping someone in England has the heart to pass a poor American, not that he is really proud of his stars and stripes residence.

Good thing our elected officials are so nieve that they continue to look for black blood on every spot of US soil. It seems to me it would be much better to invest in some sort of renewable resource rather than FUCK oil lobbyists to give them what they want. I mean seriously we have an oil mogul in the white house (I refuse to capitalize because he is a dirty cunt more worried about social security than continuing trade deficits and etc.). But other than that, who really wants to see Polar Bears outside of the zoo or even other wildlife? I mean zoo's are like so cool, nothing beats captivity, but then again Americans are held captive by their automobiles because they are too fat and lazy to walk or wait on some mass transit. Ewww it might take me a whole 15 minutes longer to take the bus, even though I paying like 5% of my wages for a gallon of gas. It just really makes perfect sense.

Anywho my rant is over because Girls are donated used promed dresses, "what girl should be refused the right to go to prom?" a girl asks ponderously on CNN. Hmmm, I am sure girls in other parts of the world, that make up more than the US adolescents 10 fold over are more concerned about food, than making the clothes you put on your back. Hoorah, buying power. Thank god for 3rd world slaves, I mean seriously who else could produce such great products for us to consume.

Daily Show skit with big head kid. Brilliant execution of the man in the car, showing clips of cars from movies while he sits in the driver seat just moving the steering wheel. Only something so campy could bring such a wide smile to the lonely kid in his rented room.

life is a big mystery...

why can't decisions be easier made, life would be much simplier.
or perhaps the decision to choose should be easier to make, like a distinct knowledge of what you wanted.

today they are too many choices and too many interests available to set your life to. these cause much stress and turmoil in people's lives.

sometimes i wish i was a drug addict (caffeine, alcohol, crack) at least i would know what i wanted everyday i would wake up. life would have a meaning, the quest to quench my next fix.

I apologize to my friends for loving the electronic music.

Every other music I feel is hogwash, because how hard is it to get a few thousand to dance to the same song and have them dance for a few hours if not mere teen hours. I feel music needs to move the people and not depress the shit out of them, ala country or some other rock ballad.

If you want to get wasted in the states, ie puritanical bs, drink ice molson, our friends to the north, not so much anymore cause they have woken to the bush bullshit, make a great beer, unlike shitty bud or miller.
